Key Numbers

At the top of the page, you’ll see a summary of your overall financial position, including:

  • Net Worth – Your total assets minus total debts.

  • Total Assets – The combined value of all cash, investment, and property accounts.

  • Total Debts – The total balance of all loans, credit cards, and other liabilities.

  • Total Accounts – The number of accounts currently connected to your Frank profile.

Use the Add Account button to securely connect new financial institutions or manually add assets or debts.

Account Categories

Frank organizes your accounts into clear categories, so you can easily understand where your money is and how it’s working for you.

  • Cash: This includes checking, savings, and other liquid accounts.

  • Retirement: Here you’ll see any 401(k), IRA, or other retirement-related accounts.

  • Additional Investing: This section includes brokerage accounts, general investment funds, and other non-retirement portfolios.

  • Children’s Savings: If you’re saving for dependents—such as through 529 college savings plans—those accounts appear here.

  • Other: This section includes assets that aren’t directly tied to a bank or investment institution, such as:

    • Home

    • Vehicle

    • Personal property or other assets

  • Debt & Credit: All liabilities, including mortgages, auto loans, and credit cards, are listed here.

Adding and Managing Accounts

  • From the My Accounts page, click Add Account to link a new bank, investment, loan, or property account.

  • Follow the secure connection process to sync your financial institution.

    • Note: If you pre-selected account types during onboarding, you can also connect an account by clicking Connect in the placeholder row.

  • Linked accounts update periodically so your balances stay up-to-date.

Tips

  • Check the Last Updated timestamp to confirm account syncs are recent.

  • Regularly review your categories to make sure all assets and debts are included.

  • Keep your manual accounts up to date to help Frank generate more precise financial plans and insights.
